''The wife's story essay''
''The wife's story'' has a lot of sentiments and irony. The wife, the teller of the story, experiences a lot of different emotions. At first she adors her husband -''He was a good husband, a good father...'', and ''...he was always gentle...''. She loves him becouse of his good qualities but then she starts to suspect him when he was coming late. She says -'' It wasn't like him, even his voice was different...''.
After she descovers that her husband is a wareman she is deeply shocked -'' I couldn't move, but as I crouched there..., I was trambling and saking...''. But after his death she feels sorrow and pain -''if I could only see him again, my true love...''.
In the story the author shows all variety of the feelings in the character. She loves, happy, than she suspects, and later she's terrified and full of pain. I find the story interesting becouse of the suspensful feeling it gives and becuse it's very emotional.
